America: There has been news of vandalism in Gurdwara Sahib of America. The incident is at Gurdwara Sahib Khalsa Darbar in Charlotte. According to information received, fortunately no one was there at the time of the attack. Police are investigating the matter. Some mischievous elements broke windows, broke lights and damaged security cameras inside the Gurdwara Sahib.
The United Sikhs have strongly condemned this incident and said that this incident has shaken the community. Jasleen Kaur of United Sikhs said that four incidents of vandalism have taken place in the Gurdwara Sahib in the last two months. Jasleen Kaur said that “Our Civil Rights Director, Pushpinder Singh, has contacted the US Department of Justice – FBI, Community Relations Service, US in this regard. Contacted the Attorney’s Office – Western District to express our concerns. Our legal team has approached the Gurdwara management.”
